1. Students are required to bring their diaries to the school every day
2. If a student remains absent for six days or more, his/her name would be struck off and re-admission would entirely be at the discretion of the Principal. Re-admission charges would be Rs. 500/
- Misbehaviour on the part of a student with any staff member or indiscipline of any kind may compel the school authorities to strike off his/her name
4. Leave up to two days can be sanctioned by the class teacher, but leave for more than two days will be granted only by the Principal. Any leave taken by Board Class Students requires a sanction by the Principal only.
5. Students who come to school by their own should arrive five minutes before the bell rings. No student is allowed to come to school by a self-driven scooter, motorcycle or car, (unless already taken permission from the school authorities)
- Changing classrooms between periods should be done in silence and in an orderly fashion
7. Students should come neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn every day and for all the school functions. Students who are sloppily dressed or not in the complete uniform will be sent back home
8. Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals. Sikh boys must wear apatka
9. No shouting or whistling is allowed in the school premises.
10. Throwing anything at any one is strictly forbidden.
- Students are expected to respect the property of others. This includes respect for school property and no student should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the School Authorities. Any damage done will have to be made good by the one who causes it.
- Students are advised to keep their classrooms, school building, campus very neat and dispose off leftovers or wastes in the bins only.
13. Lending or borrowing of money and other articles is not permitted
- The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is, therefore, not advisable to bring or wear valuable articles (like expensive watches, fountain pens, gold chains, rings, etc) to the school.
15. Students who come to school in the care to servants should never leave before the servant arrives. In case of delay they should report to the security.
16. Those who go home alone should be prompt in returning straight to their home.
- Those students who go home by public transport should wait at their bus stop in an orderly fashion and should not board or alight from moving buses. They should not hang out or stand on the footboards of the bus
- Students are advised to deposit the articles found in the school with their clas teacher or the office in charge.
- Students are not allowed to use office telephone without the permission of the office in charge
- HVN School students should observe polite standards wherever they go.they should always remember that the school is judged by their behaviour when they meet outsiders. Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences
- Since it is a co-educational school, it is expected that students must behave in a good manner which brings a good name to the school community and do not indulge in any anti-social activity which is not approved by the society in or outside the school
- Parents and guardians are not allowed to visit their wards or teachers in the classrooms, without the permission of the Principal. As far as possible, once a child has come to school, he/she should not be asked to come home on half days leave or leave from any period.
- Students should get their Report Card signed by their parents/guardians within two days of the receipt of the Report Card.
- Students must not miss any teaching, games or an activity period whether there is a teacher in the class or not. The time table in charge has been directed to make alternate arrangements in case a teacher is absent on a particular day.
- HVN School provides education from Nunery to Class XII Therefore, it is expected that the juniors be treated with love and affection, while it is expected from the juniors to show respect to their seniors.
- No student shall indulge in any of the following practices
- Spitting in or near the school building.
- Disfiguring or otherwise damaging any school property.
- Smoking
- Any form of gambling.
- Consuming drugs or intoxicants except on prescription by a registered medical practitioner.
- Rowdism or rude behaviour
- Violence in any form
- Casteism
- Communalism or practice of untouchability
28. Using unfair means in the exams is the worst possible offence committed by any student. A student indulging in this unholy practice would be rusticated from school and declared fail in the exams.
29. There should be perfect harmony among the students
30. All the students are expected to arrive on time Students who arrive late habitually may be sent back home.
